I hated hated so many more things then Sims 4. Sims 3 is a good game but I never look back fondly on the Sims 3 as some people do. A game that fucks up saves, a game that even some amazing specs can't handle. A game that doesn't just have a bug here or there, but a game that lags like crazy, a game that they even told you not to buy all the Ep's for because it runs like shit. The game should be free because EA is still selling a broke game.

I love Sims 3, but that game is and has been broken since the beginning. Ripping and tearing is easier than cuddling and cooking, I guess. So guess what, I said no too, uninstalling it and going back to some sweet, sweet classic Doom. That intermittent lag drove me nuts after a while. I like to see myself as a patient guy, but I don't think even the god almighty himself is that patient for this game. I made the game recognize my fairly new graphics card, made it large address aware and use more ram, installed all kinds of performance mods, cleaned my caches everytime I login, compressed my game files, shrinked my saves with a tool, even uninstalled some of the EPs and did many other things that I've lost count of. I had a beast of a pc now too, so I guessed that it should be a piece of cake, running the game silk smooth. Recently I thought about giving it another go all those years, seeing that many, many EPs and SPs had been released in that time.

I loved this game, I still do, just like how I love Doom, Hitman, the movie Crow, my mum and her coffee-cookies. This is approximately 120 or something days, if you wonder. Back when it got released, I logged something like 3000 hours into the base game in a matter of just two years.
